The most EPIC trip of all time
I know, I know, I say that about any hike or trip I have outdoors, but I'm tellin ya…..this was so good. Its actually hard to put in to words how great our road trip was, so I'm hoping the few photos I've put on here will help me out.
We made our way through Utah hitting Moab, Canyonlands and Zion. Continuing on through Arizona, we made a stop at Lake Powell and of course we couldn't miss the Grand Canyon. I had the time of my life! It was the perfect combination of everything I love. The people I was "stuck" with, the sing along episodes during long hours on the road, the culture of the outdoors, experimenting with cooking gourmet camp meals (which by the way, I still crave!), some of the best coffee I've tasted, conversations around the campfire every night that brought us all closer to each other as friends and family, and of course the insane scenery that sweet ol' Utah is keeping from all of us! Don't get me wrong, the Northwest has my heart, but all the giant cracks and crevasses, the start contrast of bright green plants against the deep red color of the rocks, the towering heights of boulders stacked up on one another, endless tunnels to explore in and acres upon acres of intricate landscape for our eyes to be in awe of. I mean c'mon you guys, this place is literally the worlds biggest playground. I was in a constant state of stoke, and probably got on my brothers nerves because of how many times he heard me say " Thats it, I'm moving here!" To be quite honest though, when I come back I'm gonna spend all of my time in Utah, this place wins a million times over Arizona. A couple weeks was not nearly enough time to explore all that Utah has to offer.
So there you have it, our trip in a nutshell. Now its time for all you to pack your hiking shoes and cliff bars and get on out there!
